Each year iTnews publishes the State of Security report to explore the ever-evolving cybersecurity landscape. In 2026 we are launching the inaugural State of Security breakfast roadshow to uncover the key findings from the report. Bringing together 50+ security and technology leaders, the breakfast events will include panels, fireside chats and audience discussion sessions.

Each panel will feature senior technology and security executives, and sponsor representatives.

Zero Trust

This panel will unpack how Zero Trust has shifted from a theoretical framework to a practical operating model for securing modern, hybrid enterprises. Security leaders will share how they are strengthening identity, segmentation and continuous verification, along with the cultural and architectural changes required to make Zero Trust real at scale.

Data Security & AI Governance

This panel explores how enterprises are securing data in an AI-driven landscape, where sensitive information moves across cloud platforms, models and automated workflows. Leaders will discuss emerging approaches to data security and how they are balancing innovation with controls that ensure transparency, trust and responsible AI use.

Centralising Security Information

This panel examines how organisations are centralising security information through SIEM, data lakes and related architectures to improve visibility across hybrid environments. Leaders will discuss how consolidating telemetry enables faster detection, richer correlation and more effective response, as well as the practical challenges of scale, cost and data quality.
